J. H. Wyma Wireimage Can You Prove The Intersection Of The Subgroups H And J Is A Subgroup Of G?

If H and J are subsets of the group G, show the intersection of H and J is a subgroup of G.

Another idea. To show that H is a subgroup of G sufficient to show that x ^ (-1) is in H for all x, y in H.

Both H and J satisfy this condition, it follows that to the intersection (H, J).
